abstract :
Double affine Hecke algebras have been introduced 15 years ago
by Cherednik to solve some conjecture of MacDonald.
The understanding of their representation theory has progressed very  
much recently. Among those, the finite dimensional ones are very  
mysterious.
We'll explain recent progress on this question.
