Shinsuke Hamada Highly accurate numerical computation of Serrin's equation by the double exponential transform Abstract: We consider Serrin's equation which describes a steady motion of incompressible viscous fluid caused by an interaction between a vortex filament and a planar wall. It is an ODE with singularity at an end point. In this paper we can numerically solve its solutions with high accuracy and compute the critical parameters for the uniqueness of the solution.
