ON THE COMPUTATION OF SYMBOLIC POWERS OF SOME CURVES IN $\BA^ 4 $

Abstract.
In the paper the powers of the prime ideal $P$ of monomial Gorenstein curves in affine 4-space are investigated. The equality of the second ordinary and symbolic powers is shown and 6 elements generating the symbolic cube of $P$ over the ordinary one are found. An example of symbolic Rees algebra of finite type is presented.
