Existence theorems for functional differential equations
in Banach spaces

Abstract.   This paper is concerned with the study of existence theorems for a general class of functional differential equations of the form

The results obtained generalize the retarded functional differential equations [5, 6, 8] and cover singular functional differential equations [1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 12].
