  • Abstract
    This article considers the impact of the celebration of the International Year of Statistics 2013 in Spain. Activities have been organized during this period proving the good health of the Spanish Statistical community. An overview of the events is shown in the first part of the article. Then some personal opinions of the author taken from the experience of this year are offered in the second section.
