Corresponding to an arbitrary sequence space , a sequence in a locally convex space (l.c.s.) is said to be -similar to a sequence in another l.c.s. if for an arbitrary sequence of scalars, for all , for all , where and are respectively the family of all and continuous seminorms generating and .
In this note we investigate conditions on and the spaces and which ultimately help to characterize similarity between two Schauder bases. We also determine relationship of this concept with -bases.
