Capillarity Problems for Compressible Fluids

abstract:
The rise height problem for compressible fluid in a capillary tube is considered. A partial differential equation for the rise height is suggested which takes into account the bulk energy changes within the fluid. Some applications and comparison with previous results are also presented.
