14:00-15:00 Talk

In the talk, Dr. Hintermann plans to cover the following items:
- Short and approximative description of the mathematical publishers in general,
- Focus on the EMS Publishing House, short description of aims and scope,
- Description of the the tasks of a publisher (Editorial, Production, Sales and Marketing, Services),
- Revisit of the tasks in the course of time, including future prospects.

Dr. Hintermann is one of the Panelists in the Panel "Future of Publishing" invited by IMU and to be held in ICM2014 at Seoul, and plans to share with us his personal view that he has acquired through his experience in the publishing business for a quarter of century.
