Title: Bosonization of the eight-vertex model: correlation functions and form factors
Abstract:
  1. Eight-vertex model and XYZ model: definitions.
  2. Commuting transfer matrices and the Yang-Baxter equation.
  3. Comparison with the six-vertex/XXZ model: problems of diagonalization.
  4. SOS model: elliptic model with a conserved `total spin'.
  5. Corner transfer matrix and half transfer matrix.
  6. Type II vertex operators and form factors.
  7. Formal algebraic relation between the vertex operators of the eight-vertex and the SOS models.
  8. Bosonization of the SOS model.
  9. The $Lambda$ operator in the SOS model: properties and explicit form.

Abstract:
I would like to discuss Izergin's derivation of the determinant expression of the DWBC (domain wall boundary condition) six vertex partition function.
Title: Kuperberg's proof of the alternating sign matrix conjecture:
Abstract:
I would like to recall the connection of the DWBC six vertex model and alternating sign matrices (ASM), and outline Kuperberg's proof of the main ASM conjecture.
