RIMS International Project Research 2015

Stochastic Analysis

On the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the birth of Kiyosi Itô, we launch the RIMS international Project Research "Stochastic Analysis". We will organize international conferences in order to review the current state of research and find new directions.

The following topics will be the main themes during the project.

    1. Stochastic Analysis on Infinite Dimensional Spaces
    2. Theory of Dirichlet forms and Its Applications
    3. Stochastic Analysis on Large Scale Interacting Systems
The main activities of the project will concentrate on July-December 2015. The first half of the period will be devoted to a broad review of the current state of research and in the second half, we will focus on stochastic analytic methods in statistical physics.

For more information on the centennial anniversary of the birth of Kiyosi Itô, see also the webpage of the Mathematical Society of Japan.
