題目: | On a Theorem of Cayley and Bacharach |
要約: |
A famous theorem of Pascal from 1640 says that the three opposite sides of a hexagon inscribed in a conic meet in three collinear points. The theorem of Bacharach is a generalization of Pascal's theorem to to polynomial plane curves of arbitrary degree. I will give a survey on the history of his theorem, the related geometric ideas and some more modern developments in this area. |
