RIMS Workshop on Acceleration and Visualization of Computation for Enumeration Problems will be held at RIMS (Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences), Kyoto, September 29 - 30, 2008.
It is an event of RIMS International Project Research 2008, Discrete Structures and Algorithms, and intended to provide a forum for researchers working in the field of enumeration algorithms and visualization including related topics.
The aim of the workshop is to seek a new and effective approach to handle a huge amount of data, especially those generated by an enumeration type of algorithms.

Scope

The workshop consists of invited talks and presentations on contributed papers. We call for submissions of contributed papers on original research on enumeration algorithms, visualization and related topics. Also survey papers on recent results of the authors are welcome.
A "Kokyuroku", a proceedings with a RIMS format for all the talks will be published after the workshop.
