Titile:
"p-adic geometry of the Drinfeld tower"

Abstract:
We will give an overview of our joint project with Pierre Colmez and Wieslawa Niziol, aiming at a better understanding of the p-adic etale cohomology of Rapoport-Zink spaces and p-adic period domains, as well as the link between these cohomology spaces and the hypothetical p-adic local Langlands correspondence. In particular, we will explain in detail how this works for GL_2(Q_p) and yields a geometric realization of the p-adic local Langlands correspondence for GL_2(Q_p), for a large class of two-dimensional p-adic Galois representations.

He will also give a talk in The 5th KTGU Mathematics Workshop for Young Researchers.

We plan to go to an excursion on the 14th(Fri).
