Research Interests

Applied Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Mathematical Biology

Research Overview

I study fluid mechanics of low-Reynolds number flow, dynamics of swimming microorganisms, fluid dynamics in living matter, and related applied mathematics. My research includes theoretical and numerical biofluid dynamics, data analysis of biomedical images, and mathematical modelling of related phenomena.

Research Projects

Symmetry on fluid equations and shape of swimmers

Stability and efficiency of swimming cells with cilia and flagella

Sperm swimming and hydrodynamic phenomena in reproduction

Non-Newtonian fluids and elastohydrodynamics at low Reynolds number

Biological and medical image analysis and mathematical modelling
