Research Interests

Applied Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Mathematical Biology

Research Overview

I study fluid mechanics of low-Reynolds number flow, dynamics of swimming microorganisms, fluid dynamics in living matter, and related applied mathematics. My research includes theoretical and numerical biofluid dynamics, data analysis of biomedical images, and mathematical modelling of related phenomena.

Research Projects

(1) Symmetry of object deformation and fluid equations

(2) Stability and efficiency of cellular swimming

(3) Mathematical modelling of environmental perception and adaptive behaviour in life

(4) Design and control of microrobots

(5) Differential Geometry of locomotion and its applications

(6) Fluid mechanics in active matter system

(7) Biomedical image analysis and data-driven modelling
