Purpopse of the Seminar

The seminar on Applications of Renormalization Group (RG) Methods in Mathematical Sciences was hold in Res. Inst. Math. Sci. of Kyoto University. More than 83 people attended the seminar, and we had very exciting discussions. Talks covered the following topics :
  1. Applications in Statistical Physics and Particle Physics
  2. Applications in Non-Linear PDE's
  3. Applications in Fluid Mechanics and Dynamical Systems
  4. etc.

Program (July 21-23, 1999)

The lectures given in the seminar were published from RIMS as the lecture notes (RIMS Kookyuroku, No.1134, Feb., 200) . Their contributions in the form of Electric files are linked to the titles of the talks. Underlined titles are linked to their contributions to the lecture notes or to their abstracts (mainly zipped postscript (ps.gz) files). You can see their lectures or abstracts by clicking the titles. The final forms of their contributions are seen in the proceedings.
