Usage Restrictions Due to the Relocation of Journals (Jun. 8-16, 2026)
From Monday, June 8, through Tuesday, June 16, we will be rearranging journal collections in the basement stacks.
Due to this work, access to foreign periodicals in the basement stacks will be restricted as follows.

-Stack 2: Foreign journals (1987-2010)
If you would like to use these materials, please use the form below to make a hold request. We will inform you by email when the materials are ready.

*Depending on the timing of your request, it may take a little while to reserve the materials.
The library will be open as usual, and all other materials are available for use without any special restrictions.

When visiting our library, please submit this form in advance. We will place your requested materials at the counter for pickup on your visit date. Please feel free to use this service.

RIMS Library has launched a service to place holds on materials not on loan.
You can place holds on materials that are not on loan at RIMS Library.
Materials in the basement stacks must be checked out by staff. If you wish to use them, please place holds in advance so that you can receive them smoothly!
There are two ways to apply. *The holding period is 7 days.
- Apply via KULINE
Choose the reservation type "Keep Order" after clicking the KULINE's "Reserve" button. - Apply via form
Submit your request using the form below for materials such as books and journals marked "Short-Term Loan" or "Library Use Only" that cannot be reserved on KULINE.

Notice of cleaning work (work noise)
We are removing dust from materials in the reading room and stack rooms and cleaning the shelves.
