Scope of the Symposium :

A seminar on Applications of the Renormalization Group (RG) Methods in Mathematical Sciences is to be hold at the Research Institute for Mathmatical Sciences (RIMS) of Kyoto University, from September 9th, 2009 to September 11th, 2009. This seminar is planned to cover recent topics in Mathematical Sciences in which renormalization group methods are used paractically or spiritually. Anyone who is interested is welcome to the seminar, and who intends to give a talk is encouradged to contact me soon. Curretly (August 31, 2009), we have the folowing lectures ([pdf] is linked to their abstracts):
