Préface
The 71st Meeting of the Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire
took place from September 15 to September 18, 2013 in the
University Centre of Bertinoro (Italy). For the seventh time the
meeting was joint with the Incontro Italiano di Combinatoria
Algebrica, for which it was the 19th session.
The scientific program of the meeting was devoted both
to recent developments in combinatorics, and to applications to
other areas of mathematics.
The invited speakers were Loïc FOISSY (Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale) "Algebraic and Combinatorial Aspects of Quantum Field Theories," and Doron ZEILBERGER (Rutgers University)
"Sieve Methods in Number Theory and Combinatorics."
