Research

I research gauge theory, index theory, and their applications to low-dimensional topology. One of the topics I focus on is Real Seiberg–Witten theory, a variant of Seiberg–Witten theory. Using this theory, I constructed an infinite family of exotic embedding of RP^2 into S^4. In other words, it is an example that is topologically ambient isotopic, but not smoothly isotopic.
