Research

Satomi Watanabe is working on probability theory, with her principal research interest in the asymptotic behavior of random walks on random graphs, which requires profound analysis of typical and atypical configurations of random graphs. She also has a growing interest in planar percolation with impurity, particularly in connection with forest fire models.
