Research
Shota Tsujimura is working on arithmetic geometry, especially anabelian geometry and related topics. He is mainly interested in discovering
• new anabelian phenomena/results in more general settings than the situations that have been considered as natural so far [such as anabelian results for certain infinite extensions of the field of rationals, certain (not necessarily discrete) non-archimedean valuation fields, and hyperbolic curves/function fields over them];
• new applications of anabelian geometry [such as applications to group-theoretic/arithmetic issues surrounding the Grothendieck-Teichmüller group or the mapping class groups].
